Jack Puglisi on the right for those who did not know him. A stand up, plain speaking guy.

I have not met the man, but he would be smiling now with those gas prices just a summer ago.

or are they just wondering where the car for the guy at the pump went?

He always spoke plainly to me, usually right around midnight. When I would ask him whether he knew what time it was on the East Coast, he would say, "Right around midnight, isn't it?"

Isn't that the shop down the street on the right? I visited the shop a year and half ago, met him and said the secret word that let me visit the display room behind the steel doors. Being a beginner at Parker collecting I wasn't aware of his long history but was amazed at the depth of inventory and appreciated his accomodation of letting me heft a couple fine Parkers.

The gun collecting community lost a true gentleman in Mr Jack, I have bought several guns and sold several to him. All deals straight up and clean. John has some big shoes to fill. but believe he is up to the job. Sadly the gun collecting community is greying very fast with not a lot of young collectors and dealers in the wings. Unfortunately the obit's will continue to grow. Time is a fleeting thing we must make the most of the time we have. Gary
