The 10 years I was able to spend with you guys as a dealer were wonderful. We opened on my 60th birthday and closed on my 70th birthday. This was my plan, and it was a great time.
PGCA introduced me to the people I really wanted to meet, in fact even more than I could have imagined. Thank you for letting me in that great PGCA door.
I have also many friends in the Fox and L C Smith collectors, and have been blessed with them as well.
My eyesight is not what it use to be , and I have macular degeneration in that danged left eye. sometimes I hit the wrong key and seldome ever proof read.
I will certainly be in Las Vegas and hope to see some of you there. My resposibility at home has been complicated and so I will not be traveling a lot.
I want to add a "personal" thank you to those members I was able to know on a 1 to 1 basis.................Thanks

Jim, you are one of the most highly regarded dealers by collectors around the country. You will be missed but fondly remembered as fair and honest.

Our thoughts are with you in this difficult time.

Jim ,It was always a pleasure speaking with you and some how you were never too busy to answer a question or deal with us less knowledgeable gun folks ,even when I am sure you were ! It was always a pleasure to do business with you also and when I met you in person and introduced myself ,I was suprised that you remembered the name with as many Folks that you must have spoken to day to day ! It was as if we were Old Friends ! Good Luck in all you do and hopefully I will have the Great Pleasure of meeting you again at one of the Gun Shows or events ! Best ; Russ

Jim, I remember the "Old Days" when the we PGCA types were your booth neighbors at the early Millbrook, New York Vintage Cup. Some of us would arrive early Thursday for setup and go right next door to your booth for a preview. I was surprised that you kept up the long trek to the Vintage Cup at Pintail Point. Thanks to you and Jerry for running such a prestige business for a decade. The name said it all, a standout name choice for a double gun business. I was also the beneficiary of your generousity in procuring the Robert Stack shooting vests for my friend Kevin and me. What a great gift for two students of Mr. Stack's shooting career. Hey Jim. I remember meeting you when first reading and learning about Parkers. Me, full of questions. You, full of patience. The first time we met, you were kind enough to allow me to smoke a cigar while visiting and looking at guns.

How cool is that? Going to a high end gun room, lighting up a nice smoke, and being surrounded by fabulous guns and talking to a real gentleman. I feel lucky to have be a visitor at your's and your partner's store. Wishing you the very best. Brian
