Look what I found under the seat! Loaded, even!
A 1904 la pistola used to chase bandidos along the border. Many apologies for the cylinder turn lines, I'm told they may devalue the gun.
And what is that other photo???

Of... Your truck? You forgot you had a loaded pistol under the seat? You're lucky you didn't get pulled over :rotf: any holster wear?

I assume it has something to do with Parker Brothers.

I think I recognize your "Buddy's" towel, so I guess it is Parker related

It's lawful out here to keep a loaded handgun in the car in sight or concealed and you don't need a concealed carry permit. Lots of people do. We have no waiting period to buy a handgun and you can buy as many as you want without any permits to buy. You can publicly open carry a gun of any type unless it is in an incorporated town that has prohibited open carry. But no matter, many many people have CCW permits and they are easy to get. Isn't every place like this?
There might be a little holster wear on la pistola, but its an easy 90% condition gun.
The engraved snake protection gun is owned by a farmer friend who lives up a Missouri hollow. I have one something like it coming from some place back east where they make them. Come to the next NRA convention and we might have these plus maybe 40-50 Parkers ( gratuitous Parker tie-in) .
I kind of figured that if Mark's buddy Juan can have a surprising find, by golly, I can too.

CT is an open carry state, just don't open carry or you will be arrested for disturbing the peace.:nono:

Bruce, where is the next NRA convention?
Houston, Texas. Last one was in St Louis and we saw lots of people from the midwest and the plains states and from both coasts. We had 45 Parkers on display and will have that many or more next time around. For the person who likes guns, an NRA convention is a must see. They have a political agenda as well, but depending on a person's interests, they can attend those sessions or not. Lots of black guns, but lots of more classic stuff also.

You all have it easy. Try Illinois laws, Great to live by Chicago. Tough gun laws and murders at a all time high. Yea, those gun laws are really working well. Frank

Well Frank, if you could only find a community organizer who could save Chicago. He'd know what would be good for everybody.
Plenty of room in the plains states. From Kansas north through North Dakota, there are jobs going unfilled, reasonable housing costs and plenty of hunting and fishing.

Would a man find a lot of Parkers floating around out there Mr Day? and would there be a place a man could find a wee dram in the evening?

Gary, you know all the good Parkers are back east, but there might be a few around on the west side of the Mississippi to hold your interest.
Yes, we have been known to have a small drink in the evening and solve the problems of the world. And sometimes we even have some homemade stuff but you wouldn't know anything about that. And finally, you are welcome any time. We might be able to find some pheasants and quail for you, in flocks. If you are interested, call me or a certain Missouri farmer.

Bruce, in a few more years, I will be retiring and I will be out of here. We are looking at southeast and northwest. I would love to be able to hunt and fish all the time. That is my deam. Frank

Hang in there, Frank. Take care of yourself so that you can enjoy retirement and find someplace where you are comfortable. People never wish they had worked for more years.
There are places out here that a person can be fishing in no more time than it takes to walk 50 yards, waterfowl hunting off your own dock and pheasant hunting within a 5-10 minute drive, with a lakeside house for maybe $125,000.
