Afternoon Gents,
Can anyone tell me what the book says the specs are on Serial #109437? I appreciate the assistance.
Thanks,
Mike

Mike,
It is not in the Book. However, the gun did look 100% original and it sold for a great price. I was very tempted on that one.

Thanks for checking Dave. It does look like there are surviving factory records though, so I'll have to get a letter on this one.
Bob, I've been watching that gun since day one, and I had a price in mind of what I felt would be a good deal for it. I made one bid right before the end of the auction and let it ride. I hope it's as good in person as it looks online. I'll be curious to see what the bores look like up close (measurements too) and how tight the lockup is. I've been wanting a Damascus Parker for a while now, and the condition on this one looked too good to pass up. It felt like a good price to me.
Thanks,
Mike

That is one fine gun, well worth the cost of a PGCA letter. I would buy it for that price any day, maybe tomorrow?

Bill, I'll give your contact information to my wife. After she sees that I bought ANOTHER gun this month, she'll likely kill me and then be looking to sell it. :rotf:

Now you can't hide them lying eyes, you know she will find out. I usually get caught when a buddy calls and she answers, and they say how's Gary liking his new gun! what new gun? Gary

Hey Dave, it probably looks like we've been talking in code here. All the GunBroker Parker Stalkers conversing about a gun just based on the serial number.
I decided that my current Parker DHE needed a friend. It was getting a little uncomfortable surrounded by all of the Foxes in my closet. Especially since I just bought another 16ga Sterlingworth last weekend.
I was fortunate to be the high bidder on this one today. Looking forward to getting it in my hands to really inspect it.

OK Mikey, you are hooked! Nice gun really. Great dimensions and from the photos nice condition. I wonder if Craig Larter saw that one. I pretty sure he was looking for a Gr3 dam. By the way check your PM. Now all you need is a nice smallbore Parker and a good divorce lawyer. What the hell, you can always see your son every other weekend.

I looked at this one too, very nice gun, at a great price! Only reason I didnt fight for it was the standard wood pattern stock, I'm a sucker for a nice piece of wood!

I have that gun in a earlier version, 85000, but I got lucky and it got restocked by Remington with some of thier fancy wood. They make a excellent pheasent slayer. 3 for 3 the last time she was out and they were wild birds. Nice gun ,enjoy. Dave

Russ, you're correct. You've got a few years on me, with our 6th Anniversary coming up later this year. I joke about her reaction to me buying the guns, but the truth is she's pretty supportive of my obsessions, Parkers and otherwise. She doesn't understand the appeal obviously, but she's supportive. This one went over much like the rest, with nothing more than a roll of the eyes.
