I just purchased my first Parker. It's VH grade, 12 guage, 30' vulcan barrells,
the receiver is in good shape and it a very tight gun. It has a small area
of pitting in one barrell. It was built in 1921. The stock is not cracked or split
but the finish is terrible. Who would you recommend to restore it.
Also what is a VH grade all the numbers match also.

VH is the basic hammerless grade Parker. Only the Trojan, which has a different profile was lower in cost. And please dont take that as a negative, there are a lot of V grades being shot and enjoyed.

Before advising on a restoration maybe you could post some pictures of your find.

Can't get a camera now, I think I only want to refinish the wood and remove one small dent, Other than that the gun is great. It's easily a shooter to be proud of.

Tim : Just refinishing the wood, I believe, is the way to go. If the pitting is not deep you may want to consider having the bores honed.
