My collection is getting to the point I need to get some insurance other than a rider on my homeowners policy. Can any of you folks recomend a reliable collector insurance company? Thanks.

Yup. He's a good guy. Thats who I use. I have been fortunate enough to not have had a claim so I don't know about that end of it.

Core Vens insurance company, 100,000.00 coverage for 350.00 per year. They offer good rates 50% cheaper than my Geico ryder policy.

These are good people to deal with. I don't know what it's like to process a claim with them, but they're rated "A" with the Better Business Bureau.
I hope everyone realizes that your home owner's insurance only covers guns to about $3,500. If you have several (hundred) thousand dollars in your collection, and you don't have insurance, you've got a giant hole in your portfolio.
This insurance is fairly cheap.
