I took a bit of ribbing from a few of my friends at this years Vintage Cup for my choice of gun case for my Parker 20 gage. In fact an unnamed person posted the bottom photo of said case at the Holiday Inn.:nono: Well Bruce Day was kind enough to drive said gun all the way to Lawrence Kansas for a date with Marvin Huey. In just a few short weeks this incredible craftsman was able to produce a case worthy of Americas Finest. The barrels, receiver, and every compartment lid fit so closely there is literally no movement inside the case. One thing all Parker owners can appreciate is the fact that every screw is properly indexed. Heck the screws on every light switch and electrical outlet in my house are also indexed. These cases are not cheap but if one has a very special Parker there is no better way to dress it up. There is no doubt in my mind this case will last as long as the gun it holds.

Larry, that is a fabulous case!! What a fitting tribute to Louis Parker's own gun! Someday I'll have a Parker worthy of a Huey case.

On a second note . . . I'm delighted to have been the catalyst that shamed you into that new case :duck:

. . . or was it Wilbur's? Larry will tell us.

Larry, it looks different than when riding in the back of a golf cart.

Dave,
Our friend Dean was close. The gun was originally ordered by Wilbur Jr. in 1929.

Larry, how very fortunate for you that you have provenance on that Parker.

I believe the very next order book is among the missing.

Larry, I know John Dunkle is quite talented and has a deadly sense of humor. John is coming to SoDak with us in a few weeks and I have a camera and will lay in wait for a photo opportunity.

Again, may I express my admiration of your fine Parker, one of the best, and its new case. As Hershel Chadick used to say when he ordered Huey cases for his top guns for his top clients, " A purty lady deserves a purty dress."

Hey Bruce. I saw a fluffy gun like that next to the beef jerky and samurai swords at a gunshow this past weekend.
