Through significant illness Austin has been able to write another masterful article for the Double Gun Journal about an important Parker, a 20ga BHE with family provenance for engraving by Herman Ulrich. The gun was passed down within the Ulrich family eventually to David Ulrich, who subsequently sold the gun in 1998 at the Las Vegas arms show to a PGCA collector.
The gun has since been exhibited at Pheasant Fest and most recently at the St Louis NRA Show and Convention for those interested in seeing fine Parkers.
The article descibes the family provenance, some of the work of Herman Ulrich, and the gun. For those who appreciate some of the finest and even more, well written and well researched writing, its at p. 81 of the Spring 2012 volume of DGJ.
Well done, and thank you Austin.
