I was surpised that no one took a chance on this gun that was advertised on couple of weeks ago on Guns Internaitonal. The gun was advertised as having different barrels fitted to the actions. I noticed on the pictures that it had the same work order numbers on the barrels flats that another one of mine has and they are only a couple of hundred apart. It also had a 5 on the same side indicating grade of barrels. So I took a chance that the gun didn't know Parkers very well a bought it. If at worst I could make it into a high grade shooter. Well the gun showed up today and it has the original barrels. The gun started the gun ar $4500 then listed it at $2500 because of the barrels. He took even less for it and I'm pleased to have it. It needs work but everything is there but the gold grip cap and the gold shield. I was wondering why no one else saw what I did and didn't take the same chance?

On close inspection of the second picture of the left side the barrels appear to be Damascus.

Here are the pictures he posted on photobucket. The gun needs the barrel foreend lug fixed, the extractor fixed, recheckered, new hammer screws, and to fix the missing gold shield and missing gold that should be in the grip cap. Nothing that is to hard or a lot of money. Here's the link to show the barrel lug and a few others, http://photobucket.com/1878parker
