Hello Everyone, I have a friend who just got a Parker Bros SBT, the serial # is 227250. Does anyone show configuration info for this gun. Thanks!!!

SC, 12ga, straight grip, 32" barrels.

Thank you for the info, it has 29 inch barrel, but is in great overall condition, what would the value be. Rough ballpark, thanks for the help

If, in fact, 3 inches have been cut off the barrels, there shouldn't be much choke left. An open choked SBT is an answer to a question which hasn't been asked

The choke shows to be improved modified with a galazan brass choke gauge. Hope that helps.

To get an accurate choke measurement you need to measure in thousandths of an inch, the bore constriction at the muzzle in relation to the bore i.d. about three inches in on that particular Parker. Unfortunately it may not be an effective trap gun in it's present cut barrelled situation.

The good news is the sbt's had a long choke in them. I would guess it's approx. choke now to be IC. With the right wads and powder maybe a 16 yd. gun. I think it could be a lovely youth gun for a beginner. Dave

Whats the rib look like on the end ? How was that finished off ?

You have to send us pictures of the end of the barrel from all directions as well as the bore and choke dimensions taken with a micrometer bore gauge.
