Russ, One of the few disappointments that I had of this great weekend was not meeting you! My son and I must have been lurking around the tents. I missed seeing that great C grade and meeting you :banghead:

I sure enjoyed meeting you and putting my two cents worth of opinion forth about your twenty gauge. I had no idea you bought it at the Vintagers. I thought you brought it from home. Did I misunderstand? What a shotgun.

Hello Bill; As said, it was a pleasure meeting you and the others, and no, I did bring this gun from home , I posted some pics of it earlier and a few of the guys ask me to bring it down, and I am glad I did, the pros, got to take a really good look at it and thanks to Bruce Day's encouragement we pulled the trigger guard and really looked the gun over and it got a " clean bill of health " so to speak, I just can't get over the vast amount of info. and knowledge the members of our club have ! Also Dave , I regret not getting to meet you, my traveling companion watches out for his mother which is well into her eighties and he had to get back to Pa. to make sure she had her insulin, so we left a little early but had a great day ! Russ,
What part of Pa are you from? Perhaps you can make it to our Central Pa SxS shoot in Harrisburg next spring. Sorry I didn't get to meet you at the Vintagers.

Hi Russ, it was very good to meet you although I have this feeling we've met somewhere before. It was a real treat to examine that rare late Remington Parker CHE - what a very special Parker - you were very lucky to aquire it. I hope to see you again. Dean

Chuck; I am in the S.W. corner of the state so Harrisburg isn't that far but to be honest other than hunting I have never shot any type of sporting clays other than shooting off of the lower patio with a foot release type trap, I will tell you though I enjoy playing golf so you already know I don't mind making a fool of myself ,maybe I would give it a go !

Dean; what is odd about me coming up with the CHE is when I call about a unique gun I am usually a day late or a dollar short, I just seemed to get lucky this time !

Russ, you and I are just the opposite. I grew up shooting clay targets, not hunting. Our get together in the spring is not about score, it's about meeting new friends and renewing old friendships and of course looking at some neat SxS's. Give it a try, you'll like it. I'll post the date sometime early next year.

Thank You Chuck; I'll tell you what ,if I can get it around my work schedule ,I will give it a go. Jent M.,mails me regular about events and I haven't given it a try yet but I am sure you guys are right ,I would enjoy it and it would do me a lot of good to get more shooting in !

Russ, If you like hunting you'll really enjoy sporting clays, most stations are simulated hunting shots. I have to second Chucks invitation, come shoot with us in the spring. We don't pay much attention to the score anyway, but we have a lot of fun.
