Yes one should not buy a cut barrel gun because its going to be hard to get your money back but how would 2 inches cut off affect the regulating of barrles would there be any chocke left? ch

There will be plenty of choke left, the only way to check pattern is to pattern it. I check mine because I have a parker and a fox that do not pattern dead on, left or right. The parker is a trojan 16 with beautiful original barrels. The left barrel shoots left. and the right barrel shoots right. My word of advise, pattern them guns and you will know what you have.

Calvin, 2" cut barrels could be still regulated or maybe not. You won't know until you shoot it.

Parker chokes were up to four inches long and 2" inch bobbed barrels probably have something like .002-.008 choke left , or maybe nothing. You won't know until you measure it.

Calvin, you didn't ask, but the guns a person is long term happiest with are those with no excuses.

I think my 18" BH ten shoots to point of aim. I'm not sure, though, because it covers every pattern board I have ever shot.

They are not all perfect and they are not all shooters. If its a shooter, shoot it before you buy it. If you buy a cut gun and it doesn't shoot its a parts gun or needs work. Its hard to make a silk purse out of a sows ear.
