Hello - I'm new to the forum, really like all the info.

I was rumaging thru the safe and came across the shotgun I used to go quail hunting with 25 years ago. I never really paid much attention to it as it's a field gun and is not very pretty.

It's a Parker s/s 139409, vulcan steel, WK in an oval, V in a circle, I want to say it's a 16g, bore is great but most the blueing/case is worn off and it has a wrist repair made out of what looks like sheet nickle maybe.

I covered a lot of ground with this as a kid - I need to get a couple of picts up for show n tell.

Welcome to the forum.

V grade 20g. Huh? Even though it is in rough shape, you have a nice one there. I wouldnt turn one down. By the sounds of it there is a lot of history there.

I know what you are saying, and I think most of do as well. I have done a lot of trading and bargaining to try and better my collection. Usually in search for Parkers. However, My first shotgun (A Stevens 311 12g.) is kind of off limits to me by way of letting it go.
