Two pictures; Our new orange belton setter pup sight-pointing a toy at 8 weeks old, just after he arrived home with us. And galavanting through the back field, just starting to get his colors. Exciting times in our household.

Thanks everyone. This is my family’s first setter and we are overjoyed; we grew up with labs. Here’s a pic of him taken the other day romping around the yard with my brother’s English black lab. The lab is 8 months old and our pup will be 14 weeks tomorrow.

Congrats on the cute pup. That lab will be kept busy for the next few months.

Alex, our Fireside girl is smart as a whip and, in theory, should be pregnant. Sammy bred her with Mick last week. Three hook-ups. If it takes there should be pups on the ground early November.

That’s exciting news for your family, hope it goes well. We’ve got high hopes for our pup. He’s doing well with sight pointing and play retrieving. Working on scent pointing next.
