.....almost completed. This gun has an interesting 'trigger plate action' that did not leave much wood after all the inletting was done. The stock suffered a bit, but I fused it together with a large staple in front and lots of Acra Glas. I removed as much oil as I could and Dremel'd the cracks to get into some clean wood for the 'Glas. Oooops, my brand spanking new Grand-Daughter found her way in this thread!

congratulations on the new family member...great looking old gun..after seeing the pictures of the stock work makes me want to tackle my old stocks again...got to get this gardening work out the way first... charlie

Beautiful granddaughter Mark! Put some cast off in your stocks; it appears your granddaughter is right eye dominate.

Gentlemen, you are too kind! Trystin is a little bundle of joy. Her 3 year old brother spent the night with me and said I was 'all old and crumpled up'. Out of the mouths of babes, right? I never imagined being a grandparent at 51, but it is fun! Cheers!
