I have been looking for a nice original Trojan for a while and to my novice eyes this one looks really nice. I was wanting to know if any of you all have any experiences with the seller and are they reputable? It appears that they are advertising the gun as original.

Here's a link to the gun in question.

I have purchased from them and found them good to deal with. I called them and they spoke to me about the gun I was considering with the gun in hand and were happy to give additional information.

The gun your interested in looks legit to me also.

G&H has been around for about 100 years. I think you could trust them.

This Parker is in pretty nice original condition. Trojans usually had a hard life and this one has considerable original finish. I’ve had many interactions with Griffin & Howe and I think you will be pleased with their service. I wouldn’t wait too long on this one. It won’t hang around long.

I spied that one too. If I wasn’t picking up my 2nd Trojan from my FFL next Friday, I would be inquiring about that one as well. Looks good

A surprisingly reasonable price from them for a gun of that condition.

I had been under the impression that a nice 12 ga. Trojan could be had for $500-$1000 +/- but had yet to find one that I thought was all original with some condition. This one does look very nice and was advertised as original. At first, I thought it was too much for a 12 ga. but after a few of you stated that was a reasonable price I decide to go for it. I am excited to get it my hands and get out and try it out. This makes #3 so I guess I am hooked. Thanks for all the comments.

I think you were shopping in 2026 but your brain was on 2024. Sadly everything is going up. As someone on here said it's all about condition. I paid that for a very nice mostly original 16g about 6 years ago. I couldn't touch that now.

How much was the asking price on this one? As it has sold, that’s been removed.

I don’t think 12 gauge side by sides have increased since 2024. At best, they are stagnant, if not decreasing.

You did just fine. I shoot my 20 ga Trojan probably more than any of my other Parkers

To me, that seems fair. But I have a weakness for a side by side showing a decent amount of case colouring. And, the gauge doesn’t bother me like it does some. Being a 12 gauge hurts it, however, and I don’t know how much higher than $1700 it could have brought.

I figured that was very close to the top end of the price range for a 12 ga. Trojan in the condition that is in.

The "top end of the price range" is what we normally pay. Watch the Guyette and Deeter auction on Thursday and add in the buyer's premium and shipping.

Not hardly. A high condition gun can, and does, go for more. Condition always trumps grade or gauge.

Yup, remember the Muderlak Trojan 12 gauge that sold for about ten grand.
