Was searching for a new 12 Gauge for Clays and one of my fellow NH Parker Boys graciously offered to sell me one of his guns. A 1923 VH with 28" barrels still factory choked F/F. The gun is just the way you want to find one. Totally original with unturned screws, lever right of center and nice traces of case color on the receiver. Cant wait for this snow to melt so I can put a few rounds through it.

I totally agree with you. That's a very nice-looking gun that does look original to my eyes. It looks almost exactly like the Trojan I am in the process of buying.

I bought your exact gun at a local auction for very short money. It was advertised as a 28" VH, and no one would look at it. It was a VHE. Some bidders just have to have ejectors, so they never picked it up. Your gun is wonderful.

Andy ordinarily I would but this Wednesday I will be getting a total knee replacement so walking on ice and snow for a while is NOT Dr's orders:rotf:

Of course your health is most important so good luck and heal up! I've taken my share of falls when hunting and somehow the gun always comes away unscathed while my face doesn't.

Steve, I had a total knee replacement on my right leg. Walked out of surgery. Still walking without any issues. Just walk on it is all I can say.

Thanks for the thoughts. Got home about 3 PM today. The surgery could not have gone any better. Dr was very pleased. Great care by all involved. Now the rehab and sporting clays season:) And the best part, no more pain,
