Before Red Dot became available again, I sent Tom Armbrust a 1 1/8 oz short ten target load with 19.5 grains of Titegroup/High Gun.

Winchester hull trimmed to 2 7/8"
Cheddite primer
19.5 gr. TiteGroup/High Gun
BP X10X seal
BP 1044 Decimax wad
2 16 ga .125 nitro cards
1 1/8 oz 7.5 lead shot
Six fold crimp

This gave a mean velocity of 1223 fps at a mean pressure of 8520.

I am comfortable shooting this load in my Damascus tens, both of which bear superior proofs, but might reduce the powder by a grain.

Thanks for sharing this. It's nice to see a lower pressure Short Ten target/small game load using what are readily available components. Enjoy your 10 bore!

That looks perfect for a load for the 10 ga!

Did you use the seal because you were having blow by issues with the Decimax wad?

Thanks for posting this! I have a case of this powder and I was afraid to try it.

I used the gas seal based on other recipes and getting the correct stack height. The Decimax wad is slightly looser in the hull than an SP10 and I was concerned about powder migration, but I did not try it without the seal.
