My feedback on a Venatti Deluxe Gun Case...
I just received a 32" Venatti Deluxe Gun Case that had been back ordered since Black Friday. I put my 32" Parker VHE (non vent rib, splinter fore end) in the case and am very, very, happy with the fit. Fit, function, all is great. Straps are good too. I could not find a 32" case that had enough room for the doll's head and this was the only option that I could find. Again, it worked perfectly. I received the case before the promise date as well. I have several English cases and a couple of nice ones from Tony Galazan. For the price, I got far more than I expected.
Thanks Venatti!

All I could find in their catalog was the soft case and the leg of mutton. Is yours one of those or another?

Below is a link to Venatti's Leather Gun Cases, Wally, I believe, bought the Deluxe Trunk Case:

Here's a pic of my recently purchased Venatti English-style Compact SxS Leather case:

The shotgun is a 32" VHE. The spacer blocks are from Venatti. I was told by Venatti that a beavertail, and vent ribbed Parker will not fit.
Unfortunately for me, the English Style SXS Compact Case Venatti makes is limited to 30" barrels.
I hope this helps...

Are these made in the same factory that made the cases the late lamented Jeff's Outfitters offered. Jeff's VC for my RBL-410 --

From the design it does appear they may have come out of the same factory. However, the leather is definitely different than what Jeff's Outfitters cases used. Venatti now uses "Crazy Horse Leather".
A google search describes Crazy Horse Leather as this:
"Crazy Horse leather is a high-quality, full-grain cowhide treated with natural waxes, giving it a rugged, vintage, distressed look that develops a unique patina and deepens in color with age and use. Known for its "pull-up" effect (color changes when scratched or bent), it's durable, water-resistant, soft, and ideal for bags, wallets, boots, and saddles, evolving to show natural marks and character over time."

Sounds like hides that wouldn't pass muster for upholstering a Rolls-Royce!!
