MERRY CHRISTMAS from the AHFCA!!

PS---We can count on one hand the number of J-Grade SBT's sold that year.
It makes you wonder: A stock market and banking system still reeling. Rampant unemployment (north of 25%) GDP on ice, the manufacturing sector approaching its nader. An economy plunging into the abyss. Who had the luxury of buying a dedicated trap gun? (The short sellers???)

The same folks who bought SJ Duesenberg and V-16 Cadillac autos in 1932.

Great photo of a great gun. (And there will always be rich and poor in the good ole U.S. of A.—just in varying proportions.)

On the lower end of the spectrum.

My mother was two years old in '32 and her parents were able to buy their first home that year for $1400.00 and they had no idea if they would be able to make the mortgage payments on it with my grandfathers salary working as a cobbler. They made though by grandpa hiring in at a Chevrolet dealership as mechanic. That career path ended up being a 34-year journey and the house got paid off.

Mom is still with us & I just wished her Merry Christmas a few minutes ago. This is her 95th Christmas & counting.

The blessings are many!!

My father always said he voted for Al Smith against Hoover, so The Great Depression wasn't his fault.
