Hello All,
I am watching an auction for a Parker Lifter. It says it's a 20 ga Damascus. The grade looks to be at least a #2. My question is , Did Parker make lifters in 20ga.?

Harry, the gun you're watching is a 10 gauge. It is misrepresented. The gun is a grade 3. Parker did make lifter 20 gauges, about 15 total. Several members here are lucky enough to own one.

I found a thread from 2019 where someone estimated 15(+-) 20 gauge lifters made.

On the 1882 price list 12-gauge guns were the base price. In the lower grades a 10-gauge was $5 more but the same as a 12-gauge in Grade 3 and higher. In all grades 16- & 20-gauges were $15 more than a 12-gauge and 8-gauges were $35 more than a 10-gauge. So, I don't imagine many folks were springing for those pipsqueak guns.

Dean, I was in the process of texting you to ask if you were selling yours.

Dan, that gun is making the trip to the SASSS shoot in March. A fellow PGCA member needs to try it out on skeet.

I had a 20g lifter. Never fired it. Almost 4” of drop. It’s now residing with a PGCA member on the left coast.

Awesome. I’m planning to be there. Would love to see it.

Thanks, Dean. It looks like it's missing at least one firing pin to boot.

A customer sent me both of his for cases. Boy, was that tempting.
