Thanks all; there's always an element of luck involved too. Herb, I'm sorry I didn't get much of a chance to look at your Parker. My squad was ready to start and waiting for me. Please bring it along the next time you're at the Rock.

Here's my corollary to Col Townsend Whelen's phrase: "only accurate rifles are interesting" ..... Of what use is a shotgun you can't shoot well, either modify or get rid of it. :rotf:

Thanks again all.
Daryl, it was my 12 ga Perazzi MX8, 32” with fixed Mod and Imp-Mod chokes, 20 and 28 thou constrictions. Most of the shells were Clever Mirage with 1 ounce of 7-1/2’s at 1200 CIP speed.

Thanks Frank. I really like Clever ammo. They make a 3/4oz 20ga load which is wonderful but hard to find. Once again, nice shooting. How's the new cart working out?

Yes Daryl the new cart is working out well. A much more useful investment than having one more mid-value gun in my dwindling collection and that rarely if ever gets used. It’s a 2018 Yamaha built up to my specs and is in the center of the pic. My last cart, a 2003 Club Car, was bought used and was with me 18 years with absolutely minimum expense over that period. It's now in a third life at a farm. You were there at Rock Mtn when the new owner came to get it. :bigbye:

Now that’s a gun that only its mother (or a trapshooter) could love.

Congrats Frank.
Question for Mike, what is the bush with red berries in back of Frank in that first photo, can't blow it up to be able to tell. Kind of looks like high bush cranberry.

If you remember the old cartoons with Rat Fink, always tearing it up in a hot rod. Now picture Frank in his new "hot rod" terrorizing the orange hats out on the course! Burning rubber and coming in to a station hot and sideways!!
