The 8ga GH has waterfowl on all three panels unlike most GH engraving which have ducks and pheasants.

I Love those “flying turnips” as EDM referred to ducks of that style.

I guess I’ll throw mine into the mix. An 8ga 6 frame GH with 36 inch barrels alongside of a VH 410 with 26 inch barrels on a 000 frame.

Two very nice Parkers! Thanks for the pictures. Do you shoot the 8ga?

Hey Craig, I just now revisited this thread and realized you had asked if I shoot the 8ga. I have shot it maybe 30 rounds, however I tore my left rotator cuff in 2023 and lost both of my spinatus muscles. I have about half the strength in my arm now so it makes it difficult to heft it up and get it swinging. I’m working on strengthening my other shoulder muscles, but the two I lost served a particular range of motion and that is where I’m lacking. I can still shoot it by not very well.
I saw that you also have a really nice 36 inch GH grade 8ga. What does yours weigh in at?
