Ok. Got a flat headed my way. Ordered both 7/8 oz and 1 oz for use in a Parker 16 Damascus. Pressures are circa 6,400 and 6,600 respectively. Curious how many others use the RST's in their Damascus guns. I'm guessing lots do. PS. This Parker and these shells will be headed to Maine in about 5 weeks. Double PS. I'll post pictures of the Parker 16 when I get it hopefully later this week. With luck a few doves may expire this weekend if the UPS gods are smiling on me.

Tom, a great many of use RST shells religiously and love 'em.

I love them. They are soft to the shoulder and hard on the target clay or feathered. I have shot everything from 10 gauge (I won the Southern 10 gauge Hammergun event with RST's) to 28 gauge RST's and they are a wonder. I reload for ecconomic reasons (I'm broke and the babies need new shoes) and I can reproduce the velocity, the pressure, the killing effect, but not the soft recoil. When the "big horse comes in" I'll shoot nothing but RST's. I have a Doctor friend I hunt with and he has fluid steel barrelled side by sides and RST's are the only shell he shoots.

You will not be disappointed, Harry

Harry has it right, there just isn't a better company or better people to deal with out there.

Destry is correct ! Great people, great product...

Unless I'm shooting black powder, my damascus and twist-barreled Parkers digest nothing but RST shells !

You'll like those NiceShot shells Russ, they're killers for sure. I've got some of the 1 3/8 ounce loads to test on opening day for geese in Ontario next week.

Destry; I think I will like them also,I have used their other shells, I just recently purchased a 10 Ga. Hammer Gun, and I am going to try my hand at some goose hunting ! I wished we lived closer, I would ask you for some instruction ! Speaking of instruction, does any one know how to unblock pics. on our web site, I accidently closed mine and now I can't even get our home page up !

RST shells are what to shoot in Damascus or other composite barrel guns because RST will tell you the tested pressure of any load with a phone call or email. Every time a load is tested for pressure and velocity, (yes, at the plant) the computer printout of the test result is filed with the load information. I have been there, seen the procedure, rooted through the file cabinet for information on loads I was interested in. My account of this visit is in an earlier thread. I don't believe any other company is as interested in our loads as RST is. I just love those shells and the company that loads them.

My 1894 DH 16 loves the RST's, especially the ones dressed in paper hulls.
