I tried to sign in to the Fox Collectors website today and received the message that I have been banned. Said to contact Admin. Tried to do that and received message request invalid.
Anyone else having problems signing in or received that message? Or are they having web issues?
Regards,
James Orr

They are having web issues and Craig is working on it now.

Got the same message a few minutes ago but didn't try to contact admin; I figure they will work it out in due time.

It will be hard for me to do the Card of the Month being permanently banned.

I received the same notice and sent a screen shot to Craig (Admin). I just tried the Fox site again and was able to log on as normal. Good job Craig.

Shucks! I've never been banned on a website and I hopped right over there to see what it feels like, but I got right in :crying:

I’ve been in FB jail so many times I lost count. Last time was 60 days. The FB nazis hate when someone speaks the truth.

They banned my business account permanently, and said there was no appeal right. I had done nothing, in fact since I closed my retail store I rarely go to that account. The reason they banned my sight is likely because I have had videos of my guys shooting machine guns on it for years. In one of the videos they said they could see a beer can in the background. They said it was promoting unsafe use of machine guns, which they don't permit anyway.
When I received the banned notification I just thought to myself GFYS and left it at that.

I've been trying to renew my membership for over 10 years now. I can't log in or contact anyone for assistance, go figure? I've always been a Fox guy first

Chris,
Contact Craig Larter via PM here and he can help you. We'd love to have you back in the fold. You should still be able to log onto the Fox site as a guest and ask there.

I haven’t had any issues with that site but I still get the “server is too busy” message here fairly often.

Shooting a machine gun at a beer can sounds like fun to me. I've shot machine guns at all kinds of things. Not sure that I've ever shot at a beer can, but if I had seen one out there I would have taken a pot shot at it.

I own an Elsie and like it. It's a side plate gun which I like better than box actions. My gun is an "O" grade. A very plain jane machine. Long barrels and damascus, but it is hard to see the pattern. Heavy. Made about 1900. My grandfather could have purchased it when new.

I spend time over at leverguns forum, we have been experiencing tons of issues with login, slow , not remembering login.
Anyhow I was told about this,
isitdownrightnow.com, this site allows you to check any website to see if it's working or not.
It seems that firearm sites have been being hacked

Thanks William. That’s very useful information.

Actually, William - you are correct…. If you are on an active firearms site, please remember that whoever is responsible for it probably has their head down and trying to block unwanted service attacks… It appears that the active connections to overseas accounts are attempting to overload the core Database(s) with random queries- which results in corrupting the database or minimally, causing the server to not respond or “hang”… It’s one of the reasons I’m balancing the “Server Busy” code with maintaining the database integrity..?
Too, usually these adventitious folks time these queries when they presume the Admin is asleep? We’ve experienced that here, too…
Anyway, just a “peek behind the curtain”? Just please remember, if you are frustrated by all this - imagine being responsible for the well being of an online community who knows several thousand members are in the dark? And if any community goes down - just let that Admin know you appreciate their efforts. In this community - all of you have been amazingly supportive… And it hasn’t gone unnoticed nor unappreciated…

Well thank you Mr. Dunkle. What you are doing is above my pay grade and much appreciated. FYI, I still get the "server is busy" notice but after a few minutes I'm able to access the site.

Yes sir, the other forum we have a full time 'Spam bot zapper' , he does an admirable job of it.
As you mentioned, the admin works selflessly behind the scenes and I for greatly appreciate your hard work !
