Other than the trigger, a good shotgun? https://i.postimg.cc/MTWSfbVM/1362184-IMG-1412.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/CK0y9HvP/IMG-1508.jpg

A long discussion on SGW at this link. From what I read it's a circa 50's gun of good quality. People seemed quite pleased with them overall even comparing them to the Mod 21 Winchester. They sound like a real sleeper for not a lot of money.

The Ted Williams branded Model 400 O/U was a Winchester 101 in every respect.

Can someone tell me the proper way to remove the stock? I would like to clean & oil the inside. It's a mid- 50's shotgun or should I leave well enough alone.

The advise I would give, is it depends on your skill level. If you can properly hollow grind and fit a screwdriver, that's a start.
If not, leave it alone.
