2025 Virginia State Trap Shoot

The Virginia State Trap Shot will be held in Winchester, July 2 through the 6th. On the 3rd there's a Side by Side Championship charity event, 50 16 yard targets. Maybe wobble trap? Saw a few of you fine gentlemen there last year. If any of you can make it over this year, look me up and we'll hang out at our tent.

Randy, not this year. The West Virginia shoot will follow Va. 2 days later, July 9-13, and will be held in Winchester as well. So we have an Air B&B in Winchester for the two weeks. Looks like Indiana will start on the 15th. If I don’t go home after WV, I’ll probably receive divorce papers in the mail. I’m already pushing my luck.

Well, dang the luck. The VA shoot is some 500 miles from me so I don't have a lot of interest in that one. The IN shoot is about 1.5 hours from my home, wish you coming to the Hoosier State, maybe next year. Good luck in VA !!

Looks like the MD shoot is in conflict with VA/WV shoots as well .

Out of curiosity and being nosey how many 16 yard , handicap and doubles birds you shoot a year in competition ?

In 2024, I shot 3950 registered 16 yard Singles targets,; 2850 registered Handicap targets; and 2850 registered Doubles targets.

I got a shoulder twinge just reading this.:) Maybe Websters could use an illustration of you shooting next to the definition of "dedication." It would be very appropriate.
