Nothing like the excitement of taking your granddaughter to get a new puppy.
The excitement of picking Brady up early from school so we could travel 4 hours to pick up a puppy…… how much further papa ? LOL:)
The days leading up to the trip and the insistence of spending the night at Nana and Papas house so she could sleep with the puppy.
It kind of rejuvenates an old guy.
Life is good.

There is just something about a new pup and kids. They bond immediately. Thanks for sharing.

A few quick pictures. Rosie turned 4 months old this week. Here is a picture of the 4th training session and her and her 7th and 8th pigeon, along with water retrieve training.
Rosie is everything I could ask for in a bird dog.
Headed out again in the morning for another session. Looking forward to cooler weather and rain.
Praying for some quail this season but so far the driest and poorest quail hatch for Gamble and Scale quail I have experienced in my memory.

I wish you and the pups plenty of birds.
