Hello everyone!

I'm new to the Parker Gun website, but have heard a lot of good stuff from multiple people. However with that being said, I've been on multiple message boards and realize i'm the new kid on the block.

I've done some research behind my shotgun to find out the basics, as well as general value. Using your website I've found out all the basic information about the shotgun. However, I wanted to get some insight from this community as far as how to go about selling or further evaluation of the shotgun.

The specifics:
Side by side with shell extractors
Serial Number is 116711 - Made in 1903
Barrel length - 30"
Markings:
- Frame size - 2
- Barrel weight - 3lbs
- Grade - V
- Vulcan Steel Barrel

Based on the frame size it's a 12ga

I can get pictures if need be. The Shotgun itself is in somewhat rough condition, and the butt rest has been replaced. The shotgun is still use able however with a low weight shot.

I was presented with the question whether I was sure It was a V and not a VHE. The stamp on the watertable is a "V," exact to the one in your sample picture. Is this simply an abbreviation for a VH? I would imagine they stamped all letters to specify the grade, but alas, this is why I come here for knowledge.

I'm looking to sell this gun, however I do not have the know-how to go about selling it. The few shops I have called have either not been interested because it's a Parker Bros or have directed me towards this forum as well as NorthWestFirearms. Any input regarding this firearm would be much appreciated, thank you in advance!

Cole, The V is the grade, the H refers to the fact that it is hammerless ( hammers inside the frame rather than outside) your note says that your gun has extractors which would indicate it is a VH if it had automatic ejectors than the gun would be VHE. Brent
