The chamber length should be what it is listed at.

2 1/2" or 2 5/8" most likely when it was made. Now, anybody's guess.

The barrels are Parker D4 4 Iron "Turkish"; usually found on D grades.

Could be 2 9/16”
I have a DH 12 from 1898 with 2 9/16” chambers. I shoot 2 3/4” ammo all the time in it. It is made on a 2-frame.

I have a 1901 Gh that measured 2 5/8 today by Bill Schwartz using a chamber gauge.

How are they usually choked? I assume the barrel's are not marked.

Check to make sure the serial numbers on the barrels are correct to the frame and not altered numbers
