Hi Scott, I love 16-s. Is yours an O-frame by chance? About 6lbs-4oz SXS Ohio

That is a nice one. I have one from mid 1890's. I like to carry it for pheasant, but need to get some appropriate Bismuth loads for it to use in non tox areas.

KILLER wood for a G, or any grade for that matter.

Very nice gun indeed. One wonders what the right hand side of that stock looks like, since the left side is so beautiful. BTW, I have found that if I do only the slightest amount of editing to a cell phone picture and then post it, it comes out right side up. :)

Just amazingly beautiful.
That wood would look right on a B or an A.

Agreed, first thing I did was as remove the trigger guard and check number, perhaps an employee hooked himself up building a gun for themselves or an executive. Who knows but fun to think.

Very nice indeed. What's not to like about a 16

Back in the 60's/70's, Remington would take wood which would have been used on their highest grade guns but had a minor blemish and put it aside. The wood was too good to be put on a standard gun, so it was saved for Director's standard grade guns or perhaps other "Special" folks

But this is s 1907 gun and unless there are Remington date codes stamped into thevflats of the left barrel I don’t think that possibility exists John.

Find a certain set of 32” 20ga barrels you know about and will work out a sweet deal 😁.

Very nice gun. I would take that wood on any grade gun and be happy with it.
