Like many others, I have inherited some shotguns and rifles after the passing of my father. I am really glad to have found this webpage and group as the information is fantastic!
One of the shotguns is a Parker with a serial number of 49277. Again, thanks to this page, I was able to confirm the date it was manufactured and I have confirmed everything matches.

My questions are around the next level of information. The barrel seems to be identified as "twist" but I am not sure on that. And the level of of shotgun remains a bit of a mystery to me.
If anyone has free time and information on what the attached photos tell us about this gun it would be greatly appreciated!

Scott, The Parker Serialization and Identification book lists 49277 as a Grade 0(lowest) Twist barreled top lever hammer 12 gauge with 30" barrels and a capped pistol grip. Pics would tell us condition and thats about it. Shooting the gun is dependent on many variables of which barrel wall thickness being one of the most crucial.

The barrels are clearly marked as twist.
