Whatever it was, it did not last long. Maybe a member bought it and will answer the question.

Very likely a scam. The seller is a brand new user. Only 3 poor photos and a poor description.

I agree with Brian. The listing is using photos from the GI listing below.

This was happening a TON a few years ago. I hope it is not becoming a thing again.

No rating, no "other items", no history. I think he pulled it down. He is within the rules if he claims someone took advantage of the "buy it now". No one can dispute that claim.

If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, It's probably a duck.

It was on GI from the people at Guns Dot Com. You can never get any questions answered by anyone there that knows anything. And to boot Guns Dot Com listed it in the;
Category - Winchester Collectible Firearms - Winchester Shotguns.
But, it looks like somebody rolled the dice and bought it.

The scammer was giving a clue by his listing name. Joker.

A couple times I actually killed a few scam listings by hitting the buy now on them and then immediately leaving negative feedback and reporting the sale as a scam. Once the profile has a negative rating, it will alert anyone else in the future. There was no issues on my end.

I don't see anything on the guns.com ad that indicates that anyone bought it. However, the price and the "make an offer" would indicate that it will not last long.

This scam has been relisted with a notation about possible listing on other sites & not being cart eligible.
Scam all the way, I just hope someone doesn't get burned by it.

I just killed it.
He now has a winchester listed too.

Brian "killed it", supposedly by hitting the Buy it Now button. Brian, if it isn't a scam, you got a great deal. Now to find out how to get delivery after you send payment. Good luck, buddy.

I reported both of their listings to GB. I then hit the buy it now on the parker. I immediately left negative feedback on the sellers profile.
Within a couple hours gunbroker contacted me and told me it was found to be a scam and they cancelled the order. And they shut down the profile.
This morning the seller emailed me still looking to complete the transaction. I promptly told him to screw off.

Another way to determine of a sale is a scam is to bring up their other items. It is a scam if all the photos of their other items have different backgrounds. I have seen as many as 8 different backgrounds listed by one seller.

Guns Dot Com is just a "middle man" isn't it?

Guns Dot Com is a legitimate FFL dealer, as far as I know.
