I just used the " On Line Membership Renewal Site " for the first time since it has been available and although it has been said many times before ,I just want to say THANK YOU to Mr. John Dunkle for all you do for the members of this Fine Organization ! JOHN ,You are THE MAN !:bowdown:

I played as a forum member for a long time. Looked at becoming member and the snail mail and paper payment and wondered where to find a stamp and then John did his thing. The day I saw that, I joined electronically. It would be interesting to know how many joined up/renewed since the enhanced on-line capability compared to the same period last year.

Since the online function was made available on Sept 10, 2010 about 200 new members have signed on using the online function while only about 27% of renewals have been done online, the rest (73%) are still mailed in.

200 new members sounds impressive. How does that compare to the same period last year?

Jack, I don't have that information. I had asked about the success of the online membership function in order to include the information in the Summer Issue of Parker Pages and I was given the information I shared.

Actually, rather thank you..!

I mean that. You see, in my world, PGCA is, and will be - all that the Members want it to become. And for that, too, it couldn't be anything without folks who support the same. So my thanks...

As well, I have to add - that without Mary Bowes coming on as the Membership guru recently and the current BOD support, my job and the code for on-line Memberships could never be pulled off as well as it is today... So to that, they too have my thanks...!
