Does anybody know how to sign on to this web site. I was a member and attempted to sign on to no avail, and requested a PW change to no avail, and then a new log on to no avail. Is the site closed. There was no, to the best of my knowledge, way to contact the administrator.

Thanks,
John

John I have the same issue.
Hope to hear the solution
the site says "Membership orders are temporarily disabled".

Since Doug's passing the site has been administered by a friend of his on a totally volunteer basis. I think responses have been very slow but have usually been forthcoming, eventually. I will post over there and see if I get any input; will report back on what I find out.

It worked for me at 2:15 PM this afternoon, and it worked for me a minute ago. Push the buttons harder.

I'm not surprised that a "sign on" will work for some and not for others. The only thing I know about computers is that they plug into the wall.

I went through this a couple of years ago and had been a member for many years. As noted, the web owner died, his widow, I believe, was reported to have not wanted to turn it over to someone else and a user at DoubleGunshop had been administering it on a casual basis. He eventually got me up and running (he had to make a new account in another email address) and it is still pretty active (if you can log in). The Low Pressure Reloading Group has moved to a Google Group (https://groups.io/g/16gaugereloaders) in order to move forward. I hate the format but that's what it is now.

By the way, for some reason the 16ga.com address will not work for me. I just get a lofo. I always use the link

16ga.com/forum/login.php

Try that and see if you can login.

I can log into the 16ga reloaders site but not this site:
http://www.16ga.com/forum/index.php
Who do I contact for help?
I use to be able to log in for several years
Thanks!
Jim

this is the message I get when attempting to log in
"Sorry, but your password cannot be retrieved because your account is currently inactive. Please contact the forum administrator for more information."
How do you contact an administrator?

16ga.com

As I posted, I finally got on but have not had this particular link be active in several years. It always comes up as simply their logo, with no links to anything and no active buttons or links.

I checked this morning and found a thread discussing this thread, so they have been advised. Trouble is, there is really no one there to be advised.

If I am remembering correctly, the person I contacted at DoubleGunshop's forum was SKEETTX.

One final note. When I couldn't get on. I did find that in frustration some of the members split off and started a sub-forum within 24HourCampfire. The link is

https://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/forums/83/1/16-gauge-society

You have to register and it was, for a while, the home of the low pressure group (hence the reason for the separate registration). I don't believe it is anymore but it is still an active 16 gauge forum.

The administrator at 16ga.com is s_long. He doesn't post his email address, you can only contact him through PM, which is a problem if you can't get onto the site in the first place! skeettx is not an administrator and does not have admin privileges.

i checked again and they do maintain a copy of the low pressure low spreadsheet there.

Hey Murph, post some pics of how to push buttons harder please. :rotf::rotf:

I logged on to the site and went right in to the 16g reloading forum. Downloaded the data from a few years ago and also PMd the OP asking for his updated spreadsheets.

Did it automatically go into the forums, or did you have a login button on the screen you opened?

I asked that because I was a member for decades and then suddenly couldn't sign on. My old registration was jumbled, and couldn't be recovered but the names and passwords couldn't be reused, so I had to get a totally new account. My guess is if you are in, and set up to stay signed in, it works. If not, the website does not present a sign on screen.

It is really fouled up but that is what works for me. I have to enter the full sign in address, not just the 16ga.com.

I logged on to 16ga.com and found many very recent posts and replies. Yes, I saw posters who wanted to know how much their Stevens Model 311 was worth and if it was strong enough to shoot Super-X shells as well as other pertinent questions. Those type of questions were posted today, yes, today. I don't expect that this post will attract many "Thanks".

Art, I had to do the full log in but now I can go right on.

That's what I suspected. I think there is a kink that you can only go through the main forum address if you have previously logged in and your account is set to auto login.

If anyone has a problem with the main address, try the address that goes to the login page.

I have had the site set on auto login ever since I joined over 20 years ago; have never had an issue. I just click and I go right in. Just lucky I guess, or maybe it's my clean living :rotf:

Success. I registered a new US and PW, still took four attempts, and was logged on pending the administrator. See how it progresses today.

I created an account about 6 weeks ago. It is still pending Administrator approval.
