Glad to have found this forum and home for Parker enthusiasts! I'm an FFL in Pennsylvania and also an AGI Certified Firearms appraiser. I'm brand new to Parker shotguns, so be kind!

A customer of mine recently brought me his grandfather's Parker 12 gauge top break shotgun to value. I have done some preliminary research, and have found the following information. I am hoping the experts in this forum can help provide some additional or missing information on this beautiful gun. It's the first Parker that I've come across and I'm blown away by the scrollwork and detail on it.

Manufactured: 1909
Frame Size: 2
Gauge: 12
Barrel Weight: 4.5
Barrel 30"
Serial Number: 150758
Grade: V / VH (?)
Vulcan Steel
Number Produced: 78677
Hammerless Grade 0 VH
Action: top break
Serial #: 150758

I'm attaching some photos of the details on the gun to aid in identifying exactly what it is and it's value. I'm hoping I get to see more of these fine guns in the future!

I am also submitting a research letter to find out more as well, but I wanted to hit up the forums since based on my looking through them there are a lot of experts on the Parkers.

Thanks in advance... -Pete

Stock has been altered. Barrels may have been cut.

Looks like the gentleman must have been a trap shooter by the alteration of the stock comb, that hurts the value of the gun. A 12 ga VH 2 frame is a pretty common gun, not going to command much of a price/value. Could probably pick up an honest, unaltered gun for $1200 or less. The stock alteration may have worked for the owner but not going to be of interest for most others

The view looking down on the top rib termination looks pretty typical of an un-cut V grade gun.

Not in the serialization book, but there are records, so you can get a letter for it. But the stock alteration hurts the value.
