Just a quick update.....
I wrote/changed some of the code on the server over the last few days and rolled it into the forum code this AM. Those changes are:
If you post a NEW thread - you can change the TITLE of the thread for up to 10 minutes after posting. That way, if you have a spelling error in the thread title, you should be able to change it...
If you want to "edit your post" - you also now have 10 minutes to edit the contents without the "Last edited by..." message appearing at the bottom of the edited post. Again, that should give folks some time to make clarifications, fix spelling, add new stuff - whatever.
Between 10 minutes and 12 hours, if you do need to Edit your post - you will see "Last edited by...", and all versions of the edited posts will stay on the server, in case you want me to put up your original version of your post.
After 12 hours - you can NOT edit any of your posts.
Also, I disabled the ability for folks to "Delete" their posts altogether - as it really is disruptive to your fellow community members to read a thread where posts are entirely "gone missing".
