Hi all - Had a great day at our local club up here in the Mountains near Kremmling, CO - I am new to trap/skeet this summer and doubt I will ever win any awards but I am pretty sure I will plunk a few extra birds this fall and winter from all the shooting this summer. Many thanks to forum member @gunnergrilli who has helped with this SC and answered a whole bunch of questions on various Parker guns. I wanted to share some photos and just share a bit of a great afternoon.

Keep at it and you just might be more successful than you ever imagined. Glad you are out there with your Parker SBT. Looks like a great place to shoot.

I brought my SBT to the trap range and was chided for shooting a gun made in the last century. "Buy a gun made this century, I was told by an old fellow. I shoot two guns at trap, a Parker SBT and a Winchester Model 12 12 gauge. Neither gun is anything like new or modern. I can't see why or how a modern gun would do any better.

I’ve been pretty lucky with my old Parkers.

Now that qualifies for understatement of the year John

Yeah; I'm guessing luck had very little to do with it.

I was luvcky enough today at Hausmanns’s to heft and swing and admire one of only five made SC trap guns made in 20 gauge… and it was a beauty!!

i am fairly new to the shooting sports . I bought a 725 Browning Citori last year in 20 Gauge to get started down the path. I haven't kept all the #'s on my shooting but dang if I dont shoot the 100 year old 12 gauge SC better at trap. maybe its all in my mind.. Skeet seems ok with 20 gauge. From my limited experience I can see why they would not have sold a lot of 20 gauge SBT. that said - sounds like a cool rare gun!

A 20 gauge in trap is definitely an unnecessary handicap but I agree, very cool gun.

As to the 20 gauge Parker SBT, I have to admit I’d love to own one. Not sure what I’d do with it.

Clarence and I account for three of the five 20 gauge SC guns. Who will outlive whom? It doesn't make any difference because we don't have a "survivorship" contract in place. I think Clarence's gun is 32", I have a 34" 20, maybe the only one, I don't know. Clarence has been hounding me to sell for years.

Bill, he won’t leave you alone until it’s his.
He did that to me on a 95+% GH a few years back. He got the gun but I got the better deal.

About fifty years ago, I was at a gun show in Lancaster, PA, found a DHE 20 gauge, 32" vent rib wonder gun. It was underpriced, but I couldn't pay for it, so I looked around for someone to take the bait. I found Clarence and told him about the gun. I never stuck around to see whether he bought it or not. Maybe he owes me one.

I’ll bet he did if it was nice enough.

One of the other 20 Gauge SBT's resides here in California. It is in the Bay Area and has been in the same collection for years.

Hopefully one day it will travel a little further North.................just say'n. :corn::corn:
