This exhibit just opened at the Tennessee State Museum. JH Noel was the first Tennessean to win an Olympic Gold Medal in 1924. I'm not an expert on SBT guns, so maybe someone can identify it. These are the best pics I can get through the glass of the exhibit.

That would be a Grade 5E Ithaca Knick, silver birds to boot

John Noel used a prosthetic left hand

He is back row on L and I believe the gun is a straight stock Model 12

John Noel, Samuel Sharman, William Silkworth, Fred Etchen (top right) and Frank Hughes (second from right and high gun in the Team Competition with 92). Wilford Fawcett (bottom left), Captain, and Clarence Platt.
Top 4 scores; Etchen, Hughes, Sharman & Silworth 363x400, counted toward the Team medals.
The gentleman in the middle, back row may be John “Cap” Grier who was competing in 50m Rifle.

For those who didn't read the link concerning his prosthetic hand, it is worse than that and pretty incredible. He lost part of the fingers of his right hand when a gun exploded (so must have been a failure in the breech section) and his left hand was "torn away" when a gun discharged while crossing a fence during a hunt.

This photo and newspaper clipping, which I believe to be from the 1916 Tenn. State Shoot just came up on ebay

Some people took good care of their prized possessions. This one's for sale at a local shop.

Larry,
it would be good to know more about this Ithaca Flues, that is not a Ithaca engraving scheme that I recall, do you remember the grade?

As I recall, they said it was a 4E and I believe that to be correct.

That is an early Flues SBT No. 4E with the pre-McGraw engraving. Which style bolting does it have?

It's been on there a while Drew I see that a familiar name to me "Jake Gibbs" was the High Professional but I haven't been able to pick him out from the photos on line.
