Here is a grade 3, 20 gauge TA gun. I know there are few known in this grade and gauge (maybe 1 or 2 like the chicken coop gun). For all you hammer aficionados, here is a very rare bird. BTW, the unusual rib checking is documented in the letter.

Wow, what a gun! Id have to carry that one in the grouse woods.
Hope you were not affected by the recent heavy rains an flooding in your area.

That is awesome Dean, almost as rare as hen's teeth!

PS. I suppose the checked rib was done by hand??

Harold,
Thanks for asking. My family basically made it thru unscathed. However, others were more unfortunate. Some have lost homes, crops, and livestock. Quite a mess.

Thanks Dean,

You either know how to find them or you must be living right:bowdown:

Stan,
If you knew the story of this small bore T/A and the Grade 6 lifter, you would think probably divine intervention. The 2 guns were owned by the same man. I acquired them years apart without knowing he owned both. There was a medical emergency and a treasure hunt involved....no kidding. Maybe I will write it down one day and submit an article.

Thanks for the kind words!
