The list of Grade 7s on page 1021 of The Parker Story doesn't show any W7s in the 163xxx range.

Contact the seller and request that he show pictures of the water table and barrel flats. The breech of the gun looks like a bigger frame than a zero. This seller has had off the scale guns before. Let's get the serial number right.

The gun is not a legitimate AA. It is an upgrade from a lower grade. And overall, not a very well done upgrade. The seller shows no photos of the water table, or the barrel flats to see signs of original markings. And the rib marking is not clear. The rib matting looks like that used on aftermarket barrel sets.

I would personally watch out for that particular seller (Bryant Ridge Co.) anyway. They do not have the best track record for accurately describing their listings or for answering questions truthfully, or at all for that matter. Stay Away!

No beads behind the breechballs, wrong borders to the checkering, 1913 serial number long before the beavertail forearm was introduced, on and on....

The Bryant Ridge folks are not deliberately deceptive. They just know nothing about guns. They do nothing but consignments and take the consignors description as fact. I have seen several guns of all types listed by them with poor misleading descriptions. As others have said here, do your homework and buyer beware. On the upside, their lack of knowledge has caused them to sell good guns at bargain prices.

And plenty of bad guns at high prices…

Barrels look to be cut down. Full & Imp MOD chokes?? Unless they were back bored.

They have put more pics on the listing #1 frame 20 gauge? All matching serial numbers AA marked on receiver. I bid it up to $3200 for shits & giggles.

The AA mark is spurious, as well as the serial numbers. The fact that it is an extractor gun means it will probably function. OK, we know it is a put together gun. So how much is it worth? A short barrel, heavy frame 20?

The auction closed 7 days early, and it says there was a reserve. I've never seen a listing get pulled like that. I will contact Gunbroker and see WTF is going on.

Greg, I very knowledgeable friend of mine reached out to the seller informing them of what the the gun really is as it relates to upgrade and original configuration. The interest to protect any/all parties possible involvement was the reason for the contact.

I too reached out to them. I noticed they pulled the ad after someone with 1 rating from 2018 doubled the bid.
