This gun is an O frame 16 with a very narrow rib, damascus barrels which the serialization book lists as 30". The gun now has 28 inch barrels which still touch on the end and have the tell tale line on the end. Is there a way to tell if this gun was sent back for work to Parker? It's a very tight little gun but the stock was poorly replaced. I'll need to restock it for sure. The barrels are spotless inside and most excellent on the outside. What a cute little gun it is, or will be once it's restocked. Jerry

A letter might give you some insight on the original bbl length or if it went back for a different set. More likely is that the book is wrong.

A PCA Research Letter might address the barrel length. I'd really like to see the muzzle end of the rib... please?

I would like to see a picture of the very narrow rib.

Maybe because it's an O frame? Maybe they are all this way.

Jerry, The rib on my 28" O frame 16 gauge is .558 at the breech and .410 at the muzzle.

I'll measure mine and see. It appears very small, but I'm used to looking at 12's and 10's lately. Jerry

Jerry, from what I can see it looks to be quite narrow. Please show a picture of the last 10" or so inches of the barrels at the muzzle end as well as the same at the breech end showing the doll's head.

I'll take some more pictures tomorrow and see what we can find. The darn thing weighs nothing even with club that's on it for a stock. I'm also shocked that the barrels are not dented as a lot of O frame 16 barrels I've seen were dented quite a bit for some reason. thanks guys, Jerry
