The "3" Extras are ejectors and extra barrels.

And it is actually TI 3 Meaning Grade 3 with TItanic barrels... not T 1 3

What I have is DHE straight grip with 28” Titanic barrels choked.005 and.017.
I had no idea about the other barrels.

I owned this gun for a while. The 32” barrels are missing. The other set is 28”. Nice gun! One thing I really liked was that it was originally shipped to Memphis. I have the letter Scott.

So that gun slipped through the hands of the TN Cartel?

Scott, wait until later next week and order a research letter. Good info in there on this gun. Just sayin'.

Actually it’s still in the great State of Tennessee!

I have a Memphis shipped #2 frame 20 with 32" barrels. If you will share your letter information on yours, I will dig out my letter. As I recall, my gun was a two barrel set also. The keyword is "was".

Wow! I’d like a place in line for that one.

My mistake. My gun, #153,467, was shipped to me from Goodletsville, TN, which is a couple of hundred miles from Memphis. It was originally ordered by Orren R. Dickey of Boston, a competitive shooter and high volume Parker dealer. He is the same guy who ordered my former 32" 20, #153,333, which I am now searching for with the wish to repurchase it. 153,467 was a two barrel set, 32" 20 gauge Vulcan Steel, and 28" 16 gauge Vulcan Steel. The 20 gauge barrels are 3" chambered and the gun was ordered at 8 pounds with the 20 gauge barrels and the 16 gauge "light as possible".

I believe the 28" barrels should be stamped with a 2...?

Scott Gentry

They indeed are.

Bill Murphy

Yup, both sets stamped 2 on the rear lug. A 16 gauge #2 frame is a rare bird and my gun is #153,467 and I would love to find those barrels.

Dean Romig

I was NOT referring to the frame size stamped on the rear locking lug.

Think you are referring to this.

Think you are referring to this.

That and the forearm wood or iron or both.

Dean Romig

Yes Scott and Dan - those are the stamps indicating barrel and forend set No. 2.

Maybe I'm missing something, but what is the large "stock shield" in the right side of the buttstock? I am presuming it is engraved but can't read.

Scott Gentry

Letter documents shield being installed at factory along with the Silvers pad.

Scott Gentry

It is a special gun for sure and I am proud to be its caretaker, now just need to find the missing barrel……

Bill Murphy

Sorry I misread the question about the #2 on the second barrel and forend.

Bill Murphy

The gun was a complete two barrel set a few years ago, offered for sale in the mid sixes.

Scott Gentry

Which gun are you talking about? Yours or mine?

Most interesting how some guns "grew" a new set of barrels over the years as they matured in the dealer's queues!!

Your gun. Is there a PGCA letter available?

Scott Gentry
03-27-2024, 01:09 PM
Yes, I have the letter.

Bill Murphy

If you share the letter I will tell you about the gun.
