Our Sunday Sporting Clays group decided to shoot indoor 5 stand with a wind gusts to 40mph and temps hovering about 19 degrees. Thought the southern boys would get a kick out of our set up. Radiant keeps the chill off.

A neat set up. I'll bet those 40 MPH gusts made for some tough shooting.

A very nice setup! Here in Texas we'd want it with A/C!

I was in Lubbock last week and it was plenty cold and windy.

Having some experience in the panhandle in winter I don't doubt that a bit but in the summer you can cook a chicken on a car hood! I shot several clays rounds with my guys in the Texas SxS club this summer, smokin' hot by 10:00 AM. Cold blowing air at the 5 stand would be wonderful in the June thru September time of year.

It's set up for night time shooting which is an interesting experience.

You guys definitely seem to have a need for something like that , but I swear I feel confined in 5 stand setups that have a roof and arm rails much less walls .

Sweet! And I thought I was over-the-top when I brought a small heater into a duck blind.

It does take a while to get accustomed to being confined.

We have a similar setup in the Detroit suburbs. It's also set up to shoot at night, with special lighting and special targets. Crazy hard!

I bought it a little over a year ago. 2023 was a great year for me, I made some great upgrades both Parker and Fox. I sold off a bunch of great guns to upgrade. Collecting guns is a marathon, it takes time.
I love grade 5 guns, the sweet spot in Parkers line up in my opinion.

My hat’s off to you folks who shoot through the Winter months up North and beyond. That’s true dedication. I can manage it down here in the Deep South, but Cold and Wind are not my friends.

2 5/8" DAH is sweet.

I kinda wondered how you tough duck hunters were going to handle the wind and temperature this morning.
A good decision to do the inside, radiant heated 5 stand instead.
And your other choice would be shooting the Rochester Brooks Sporting Clay's course pretty much in the windy, cold and wide open. That would not be nice!
Yeah, nice gun.
