Hello,
I have recently inherited a Parker.
Some of the markings include:
Pat Nov 13 1875
15104
02
M 14
Plain Twist
32" barrel
The stock is completely broken in two.
Any chance that it can be repaired.
Any availability of replacement?
I would appreciate any info or help.
Thanks!

Wish one of my ancestors had the good judgment to get a Parker Bros. gun I could inherit one day!
That would motivate me to spend the $ to bring it back out into the field.
First person I would reach out to is Brian Dudley. Member here. Link: http://bmdgunstocks.com/about-us/

I second contacting Brian. He is an excellent craftsman.

I personally think that the gun may be a later restock. Possibly a factory restock, but I am not sure. Further evidenced by the book saying it was a straight stock. An interesting observation is that it has the later style banjo forend tip where it should have the early wedge tip.

A Wedge Key fore end with a Thistle tip is a strange marriage.

Thank you. I do not know the history of any restocking

Thank you. I appreciate your insight. I do not have the knowledge about proper or improper modification issues, nor do I know the history of this particular firearm
