The hoover's found and pointed all 8 in 4ft high thick 20 ac switch grass field on Saturday. Took the best part of the morning. The brown Lab is 12 and sadly is really slowing down, the black one is 9 and will still do South Dakota this fall with a group of 7 to 9, I don't get out any more, I am about out of gas for anything other than short goes. Son Jim is keeping an eye on the old man. Spent the last half hour trying to add photo, said it uploaded??? Was a shot of dogs, old man, son, birds, etc. etc. Sorry only BS is coming through, All the Best to All, Tom

Tom, if you know how to text or email a photo, I’ll give you my address/number and then I can post it for you. We’d love to see the pictures.

Hi Reggie,

I had my BHE 28 and Jim was shooting his CE 30" SST, 20ga that weighs in at 5 lbs-8 0z and is bored with F&F chokes. A very early number with a honey colored stock with very nice contrasting grain. It has an Infallible Trigger that has never missed a beat in the 30 plus years it has been here. It happily digests Remington Premier Field 1oz loads and he is deadly out to 35/40, but most shots are closer, over the dogs. He just waits until the end if one gets up beyond 30yds, the dogs will find it. I seem to remember serial is 1st year. (~1913/14)s

Time to leave for supper with friends, Mom is getting her yearly dose of Valentines Day lobster tail tonight, and the old man will be a happy camper. A Safe and Enjoyable Spring to All, Tom [/B]

Tom just keep going even when it is difficult. I also have a son and a two young black dogs that keep me moving forward. I wish our paths had crossed many years back as we both have similar passions, Labs and Fox guns.
