Trying To Find Date Of Manufacture--

It's been a while since I last posted, but I've always been amazed at how quickly my previous posts were responded to and how helpful the forum members are in sharing their knowledge.
Now I'm coming to ask another favor in please helping me find the date/year of manufacture and grade of my 12 ga. Parker SxS, Damascus 30" bbls, SN:83993.
Any assistance you can provide will be much appreciated.

Fred, 1896 is the date. There is a link that when you plug in the serial number, it gives you the DOM…right there on the homepage.
