A pointer AND a setter braced together is pretty darned classy.

And in Missouri pretty darned democratic and not often encountered as generally one breed's aficionado won't stand for the other. I like them together (but, hey, I'm an immigrant Missourian)!

Looks like they're getting primed for your Kansas trip. Enjoy those pups.

I’m an equal opportunity bird dog lover Gary. The little Setter had the find here and the the Pointer came flying down the tree line from the right and didn’t see the Setter (giving her the benefit of the doubt) and flipped ass over on to point. They’re both growing into bird dogs.

If you get a hankering to shoot wild pheasants with the 3” chamber barrel I have many boxes of Browning 20 3” #5’s I can let you have at the friends and family discount LOL’s !

Of course the Setter found and pointed the bird before the Pointer. They usually do.

Setters rule. My dad raised and trained e glish setters and field trialed them. He always wanted a pointer but my mother forbid him. She told Dad she didn't want to see the dogs testicle hanging down. Oh, Dad only wanted a male pointer. True story.

I can only think that the Setter was on point first and the Pointer slid in to steal the point...because they always do.
