Embarrassing to have to ask, but I had a small spring fall out during disassembly of the stock…I found the part number and name -Cocking hook pin and spring.
And after 30 minutes of googling and looking to see if I can find an obvious place where this fell out of… I thought I’d come crawling here begging for help.
Is this easily put back? I could post a picture of the opened action if that is helpful…
Thank you !

The cocking hook and spring are in the barrel lug. Are you talking the unhooking pin and spring???

It fell out when fitting the receiver back to the stock, tiny spring with a rod inside. Looked like the cocking hook and spring but can’t be if that’s in the barrel lug
I’ll have to take a picture of it tomorrow… thank you Brian!

Are you sure it's not the trip, spring, and pin that fell out? Number 20 of the parts list diagram? The spring and pin are in the hollow shaft of the L shaped trip. They are pretty notorious for falling out and getting lost. Either that or you might have put the trip in without spring and pin?

Once you figure out exactly what is missing, I can provide whatever it is.

I hope I'm not suggesting something that you already know. Here is a pic with the trip, pin and spring installed and one with it out. As you can see the pin and spring can fall out while you try to install the trigger plate. I happened to have this action apart already.

That’s it!! I can see it goes spring side in first. What a great forum this is…
Thank you
