Newest stallion in the coral. Parker SA, 32 inch barrel, Monte Carlo stock. Excellent dimensions. This is another Shelly Gitman gun. The man had good taste.

Shot my first 25 straight with this ole boy today. Took me a few rounds before I figured out the POI. All good now.

Is it going to be your 16 yard or Handicap gun? If you get tired of it, let me know. j/k

Happy you found that one...gorgeous, gorgeous Parker.

How fitting that a gun so special should find its way to someone who knows how to — and will — use it.

Good question. 16 yard shooter for sure. Not choked as tight as I would like for handicap. It's something like IM or LF, I think. Will definitely be a backup, possibly take over in the starting lineup. We'll have to wait and see.

These images constantly remind me of the man. I will smoke a fine imported cigar this week out shooting in his honor. Shelly would have referred to this one as a "serious gun."
Thanks for sharing, John.

She didn’t make the starting line up. Headed for the Grand American next week. Will be shooting my SA with a straight grip stock in singles, my GHE in doubles and my SAA upgrade for handicap.

Now all you need is an adjustable rib, comb and buttplate, backbore the barrel, tweek the choke and you are good to go

Well that 16 Yard AtA straight is great,
But I want to see
how it shoots on a good Wobble trap machine, At Flint Skeet and trap, our Gordon Chappmon has his first 100 straight with 7/8 oz no 8s from the 18 yard line
You are welcome anytime
There is another man from Americus that shoots
I have an SC 32 inch
242055 made 1941
I have only shot a 23 with it on wobble

Wobble trap is definitely next level. And hats off to anyone who can run a hundred straight in any shooting event.
